                                 GREENBERG

Albert Greenberg (March 1, 1926 - April 13, 2017).  A long-time resident of Philadelphia and Delray Beach, FL, he had recently moved to Warminster, PA.  Albert served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and saw action in France and Japan.  A lifelong athlete with a warm sense of humor, he found joy in softball, bowling, tennis and swimming.  He was an avid bridge player. Towards the end of his life, after a 70-year hiatus, he rediscovered his love for billiards.  Albert was devoted to his wife of over 65 years, Bernice (nee Chernoff), who predeceased him this past November.  He will be greatly missed by his loving daughters Irene Greenberg and Gale Sloan, his beautiful granddaughter Erica Sloan and his amazingly supportive sister-in-law, Edith Krieger, also a resident of Warminster.  Relatives and friends are invited to assemble for services at Monday April 17th, 10:30am at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery Administration Building, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.  Donations in Albert’s memory may be made to the National Stroke Association.   BERSCHLER and SHENBERG
