DR. LAWRENCE ZINNER

July 31, 2018, Dr. Lawrence Herbert Zinner was born in Perth Amboy, NJ 91 years ago, and resided in Philadelphia, PA.  Dr. Zinner was the son of Adolf and Etta (nee: Metzendorf) Zinner.  He was the husband of Phyllis (nee: Kudler) and the late Hazel (nee: Groff).  Father of Aaron (Tama), Eli (Jan), Ira (Cheryl), Mark (Debra) and Sue (Steve) .  Brother of Elmer Zinner and Delores Meyerhoff.  Also survived by 9 grandchildren; Rebecca, Hannah, Alexa, Melissa, Andrew, Jordan, Evan, Zack and Ben. 

Dr. Zinner was a World War II veteran who trained as a Japanese interpreter; a graduate of Rutgers University, and PCOM.  He practiced medicine in Germantown for 49 years; served as a Chaplin for his medical fraternity, and for the past 8 years he conducted Friday night Sabbath services at Brightview Senior Living in East Norriton, PA.  He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.  Graveside services will be 1 PM Thursday at New Montefiore Cemetery, West Babylon, NY.  BERSCHLER and SHENBERG
