Ellie was kind, compassionate, and unconditionally loved us all. She opened her arms and heart to everyone she met. Ellie was a strong, wise, and amazing woman who taught us the importance of family by example. She always reminded us of what was really important in life using her favorite expression, “No problem”…except when it came to her beautiful beloved glass birds.
After the untimely death of her first husband, Howie, she courageously took over the Deli-Fair in Audubon New Jersey.
Upon retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her second husband, Henry, in both Cherry Hill NJ and Bal Harbour Florida.
One of her greatest joys was spending summers with her sister, Dot, in Cherry Hill and traveling to many beautiful destinations together.
Ellie treasured her two girls, Sara and Mindy, her five grandchildren, Holly (Jon), Eric, Ariel, Kevin, Jordan, and great grandchildren, Kobe and Rafi.
She is also survived by Ilene Berman, Aaron Bloom, Karen Massaro, Ellen Lowenberger and their children.
Ellie was a fashion maven who lit up the room with her beauty, style, and grace. We will carry her in our hearts forever. May her memory be a blessing. BERSCHLER and SHENBERG
