JUDITH E (Berk) HOLLAENDER

August 19, 2018, Judith was born and raised in Wilkes Barre, PA and graduated Temple University in 1961.  She was an elementary education teacher at the Lea School in Philadelphia for many years and was named Teacher of the Year by the Philadelphia School District. After retirement she lived for 7 years in Hellertown, PA with her daughter.  She was the wife of the late William, mother of Karen Echenberg-Butrica (Frankie), sister of Jon Schiffman and Nancy Ivers.  Grandmother of Julia, Lily, Mia, Andrew and Abby.  Relatives and friends are invited to services Wed. 1 PM at West Laurel Hill Cemetery.  BERSCHLER and SHENBERG
