Wife of the late Murray, mother of Ellen "Cookie" (Gabe) Brenner, Mitchell (Michol Sheridan) Pulwer and Sarah (Bainish) Myer. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a member of Hadassah, Federation Food Bank and Congregation Beth El-Ner Tamid.
